Hi guys I found this in eastern NC! The fourth picture was a mushroom found a few meters further up, I believe it to be the same species and it shows some blue bruising.

Thanks guys

Hey y'all. I'm quite sure these are Chanterelles. Which I'm disappointed I left them, I've never tried them. Confirm? Thanks for the help y'all.

It didn't stain blue for at least a couple minutes, but perhaps later it did. It does look as if the underside bruised blue on the cap.

Okay thanks Dave. Will do next time. Okay thanks Dave. Will do next time.

Hey y'all I found this Bolete next to some hardwood trees in Western NC. The stem is yellow all the way through. Thank you!

That looks right Dave. Thank you. I've found little to suggest their edibility, have you tried them?

These popped up after a rain in some mulch in Western North Carolina Update: I did a spore print. It is white.
-
Alright. Thank you Dave!

The smell is sweet. Reminiscent of vanilla or anise maybe. Growing on the shore of a pond under mainly oak trees

Hey guys. I'm quite unfamiliar with corals. I've never bothered with them until now since mushrooms are becoming a little more scarce is eastern NC. Could I get an ID. And if it's edible... Id like to know how y'all prepare it usually. Thanks for the help.

Hey guys. I found a cluster of these in a front yard in eastern NC. I believe their Armillaria tabescens. Some of them have white on the cap. I believe it's the spores dropped from the other mushrooms in the cluster. Confirm? Thank y'all.

Hey y'all. I've never found an old man before. But I am pretty sure this is it. I didn't get any pictures at the site because I was working at the time. But there were about four of them. It bruised red when I cut it. The only thing that is throwing me off slightly is that it was growing under a pine tree. Confirm?

Again... I was doing some weed-eating today behind a friends house. I found this what I assume to be a Bolete of some sort. However I have very little experience with Boletes. It was growing in pine straw in eastern NC. thanks for the help y'all.

Thanks Dave I'm excited there were many there, I'll send a picture when I have collected them. I'll be sure to do a spore print yet to verify. Have you eaten them Dave?

This one was southern Ontario, There were many all of these woods. In groups beneath trees. Some of these in the group the cap was still closed, smoother and brown, not sure if different species or a younger one.

So I am by no means any good at mushroom identification, and never yet would I give an idea as to what someone else's mushroom is, but I do think it healthy for me to make a guess on my own finds. So please excuse my bad ID attempts This guy was in Southern Ontario. I cut it open and it was gell like on the edge, and spores in the inside. Could it be Calvatia fragilis

Thanks! I think some others I have found are then the mature.

I believe these are all the same. Although now that I'm posting them I think I have two different things. 1-3 are the same mushroom, and 4,5 are the same. Thanks
