I went for a quick walk today, not really looking or thinking I'd find anything. Then I came across a downed Beech loaded with Hericium. Too bad they were past prime.?

I've been busy with work all spring and summer. I finally got a few hours to get out today. What's popping? I already found some corals.... -
Those are definitely shaggy manes . Pretty bland in my experience . Stir fry them or make some mushroom soup.

All found on red maple...big oaks in the area though. Gps pinned .

Chickens and Hens are popping everywhere. Unfortunately, someone topped the Hens on me but there was still plenty of goodness left.

Topside is smooth and soft. Almost like cork. -
Pure white pores on the underside.
